The festival has a 501(c) 3 corporation, Friends of Incontri in Terra di Siena, Inc., through which U.S. donors can make tax-deductible contributions. For donations outside the U.S., click here.

    • Sponsor a Musician-in-Residence  – €10,000 ($11,000) 
      Help us bring world-class musicians to the Incontri in Terra di Siena and enjoy their brilliant performances. You will have the opportunity to meet personally with the musician during the ITS festival and be acknowledged with your musician in our programme and on our website.
    • Sponsor ‘Parlando’, our Writer-in-Residence initiative – €10,000 ($11,000)
      Each year we invite a distinguished writer to join us during the concert period. Their piece(s) will be posted online in English and Italian, as well as printed. The printed versions will become, over time, a handsomely bound Incontri in Terra di Siena anthology. You will have the opportunity to meet personally with the writer during his or her residence at La Foce and be acknowledged as our Parlando  sponsor in our programme and on our website
    • Sponsor a Concert – €30,000 ($33,000)
      Underwriting an entire concert at the festival secures the finest musicians and venues. You will be acknowledged at your concert as well as in our programme and on our website.

To donate a gift of stock: 

A gift to Friends of Incontri of appreciated securities entitles the donor to a charitable deduction for its full current market value, without paying the capital gains tax on the appreciation, which would otherwise be required. Should you wish to make a donation of stock to Friends of Incontri, please contact Theresa Chaides for more information and broker instructions.

Please note it is our policy to sell stock at market value immediately upon receipt of the transfer. We credit donors with the selling price of the security on the day it is sold. You will receive confirmation of the amount in your tax acknowledgment letter.
